Ceramic and porcelain tile are a popular choice with its earthy tones and various textures. Tile can be used for a wide range of areas such as floors, showers, walls, backsplashes, and more.

Ceramic tile comes as one of four basic styles:

• Glazed ceramic has a glass-like coating and comes in a variety of colors and textures. This type of tile is very easy to keep.
• Quarry tile is unglazed ceramic tile with a slightly rough texture that provides better slip-resistance than other tile options.
• Porcelain tile is especially hard and durable. Porcelain tile is stain resistant and is available either glazed or unglazed.
• Terracotta is an unglazed tile with earthy tones and a rustic look. It is recommended that tiles be sealed periodically to prevent staining.
